The key project details

In the late 90s of the 20th century, the road was expanded to a two-lane road, in the part from the Pouridis junction to Tamera, while the Bat Shlomo junction and the Elikim junction were upgraded to interchanges. In 2009, the Tamra-Yivor junction section was also expanded to two lanes. Section 18 of Highway 6, which opened to traffic on July 20, 2009, connects Highway 65 to Highway 70, at the Ein Tut interchange near the Elikim interchange. In 2011, a Somak interchange was inaugurated that replaced the existing intersection at the junction with Route 6 and Route 79.

Effective communication and coordination among the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers were instrumental in maintaining the project timeline.
