Regulating Ramat Hanasi Street in Haifa, Israel

Project Scope

Construction of a new traffic circle to facilitate direct entry and exit to the Ramat Hanasi neighborhood and Derech Hayam Street via Shonit Street, improved traffic flow and accessibility for residents through the creation of an additional entry/exit route, collaboration with Yaffe Nof Corporation to ensure smooth execution.

Project Delivery

The project involved meticulous planning to minimize traffic disruption. Lane closures were implemented alternately in both directions, with clear signage and police presence to guide motorists to alternative routes. Additionally, the project encompassed road resurfacing, asphalt work, and painting between the King Shlomo-Hatzel intersection and the newly constructed traffic circle. As the Executive Engineer and Quantity Surveyor, I played a key role in overseeing all aspects of the project, from initial planning to successful completion.

Upon completion, the project significantly improved traffic flow and accessibility for residents of the Ramat Hanasi neighborhood. The new traffic circle provides a direct and convenient connection to Derech Hayam Street through Shonit Street, alleviating reliance on the previously sole exit route via King Shlomo-Hatzel Street.

Urban infrastructure enhancement and enforcement in Tirat Ha-Carmel, Israel

Project Highlights

Tirat Ha-Carmel's strategic location positioned it as a regional service hub, catering to both city residents and the surrounding settlements. This unique status generated a complex urban environment demanding comprehensive municipal oversight. A surge in construction and population growth exacerbated existing challenges related to parking, traffic management, sanitation, and environmental protection.

In response to heightened public awareness and demands for an improved quality of life, this project aimed to bolster enforcement activities across multiple domains.

As Executive Engineer and Quantity Surveyor, I contributed to this initiative, overseeing a budget of NIS 32,000,000 allocated by the Ministry of Housing.

Nahaf Municipality infrastructure development, Israel North

The Nahaf Municipality, situated in the Beit Kerem Valley north of Karmiel, experienced significant growth and development over the past several years. As a result, the municipality faced increasing demands for infrastructure, particularly in the areas of transportation and public space.

Road infrastructure development

The project involved meticulous planning to minimize traffic disruption. Lane closures were implemented alternately in both directions, with clear signage and police presence to guide motorists to alternative routes. Additionally, the project encompassed road resurfacing, asphalt work, and the newly constructed traffic circle.

As a Executive Engineer, I was responsible for the execution and quantity surveying of multiple road construction projects within the Nahaf Municipality. These projects encompassed a wide range of activities, including traffic management, earthworks, underground utility installation, retaining wall construction, and paving. A notable example is the comprehensive road network expansion project, which initiated by Ayalon Highways company and carried an estimated budget of 12 million NIS. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in obtaining the necessary construction permits for an access road, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

This project contributed to the enhancement of the local transportation network, improved accessibility, and enhanced the overall quality of life for Nahaf residents.

Western neighborhood development in Yarka, Israel North

Project Highlights

The project was initiated following an invitation from the Ministry of Housing.

A collaborative meeting was convened to address obstacles hindering the planning and marketing of residential plots for military personnel across all northern Israeli municipalities. The Ministry of Construction and its team demonstrated exceptional competence in facilitating the allocation of an advance budget of 11 million NIS for the development of the western neighborhood in Yarka. In response to heightened public awareness and demands for an improved quality of life, this project aimed to bolster enforcement activities across multiple domains.
